Thanks for submitting a ticket at TechSupportFree,
Can you please right click the hard drive and click properties and then tell us what the file system is, its possible that the external hardrive formatted itself for use on the TV. Has the hard drive ever worked in the computer before?
Caleb,

kumar:

file system--NTFS.....
and yes it worked good enough on computer and tv simultaneously before

Caleb:

If this hard drive has worked previously, and a scan shows the contents, perhaps they have somehow been marked as hidden or system files. Please follow the procedure below to make them show up in Windows Explorer.

1. Open your external hard drive in Windows Explorer
2. Press ALT to display the top menu, then click the Tools menu, then Folder Options
3. Click the View tab up the top
4. Click "Show hidden files, folders and drives" then click OK
If this doesn't work please respond back thanks.
